Website privacy statement

This statement covers this website only — safeahead.co.nz. It does not cover the SafeAhead product. A separate privacy notice covering drivers and operators will be published before the product collects any driver information.

Who we are

This website is operated by MST Innovations Limited (NZBN 9429053903839), a company registered in New Zealand. We are an agency for the purposes of the Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

This site is deliberately simple. It has no accounts, no forms and no payment.

• No cookies are set by this site, and no analytics or advertising trackers run on it.
• Standard server logs. Our hosting provider records technical request information, including IP address, user agent and the page requested, for delivering the site and protecting it from abuse. We do not use these logs to identify individuals.
• Anything you send us. If you email us, we hold your email address and the content of your message so we can reply and keep track of the conversation.

Why we collect it

To operate and secure the site, and to respond to people who contact us. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

Who else sees it

Our hosting and email providers process information on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not otherwise share it.

How long we keep it

Server logs are retained for a short period by our hosting provider and then deleted. Email correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the relationship it relates to, and deleted when it is not.

Your rights

Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Contact us at hello@safeahead.co.nz and we will respond within the statutory timeframe.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.

Changes

If we change this statement we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
